N8/N9 Non Immigrant VisaWho can apply?:
N-8. Parents of certain special immigrants children under the age of 21. N-9. Children (under the age of 21) of certain special immigrants or N-9 visa holders. IMPORTANT: In both cases, individuals who frequently qualify for this case type must promptly coordinate with the human resource office of the hiring organization, the State Department Liaison, and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services following the termination of the intending immigrant's non-immigrant status. It is crucial to initiate the adjustment of status process in the United States. The agencies have established a deadline for completing the necessary preliminary steps, and this must be accomplished within 30 days of the status termination date. |
